Found this damselfly resting by the garage door. If my identification is correct it is a female Ebony Jewelwing. We have a small creek that runs a little over one hundred yards south of the house, so this lady was not too far out of her normal element.
I never cease to be amazed at the creative nature of our Creator! So, I thought I might share the picture.

I’m always amazed by the wonder of God’s creation. I have a spider that I watch on our front porch every evening. He builds this massive, beautiful web in a few minutes and then takes it up every morning. I’m always flummoxed by people who can watch this intricate movement of nature and think that it happened by chaos and refuse to believe in a loving Creator who blessed us with these fascinating engineers of nature.
