Hive Box Build Progress

Above: Handhold jig with insert to adjust for sides and ends (all get a handhold).

Above: 1/2″ deep handhold in a side.

Above: Dimensioned parts for eight deep brood boxes, with the handholds cut.

Approximately three days of labor so far.

    1. I am taking a bee class now (for the second time). I have an order in for bees, and don’t know exactly when the weather and the supplier will make it possible to pick them up, but I know I have to be ready for them, whenever that is.
