According to a report by StatNews.com, two thirds of the members of Congress cashed checks from Pharma sources prior to the 2020 election.
For Iowa, the report lists $102,000 to Senator Joni Ernst, $32,500 to Senator Chuck Grassley, $1,500 to Abby Finkenaur, and $500 to Cindy Axne. These ties may help explain the response to those of you whom have written to your legislators about any concerns about medical mandates. If I were to paraphrase the tenor of the responses I received, “Thanks for contacting me. Were going to keep on doing what we have been doing.” How about you? Have these contributions damaged hearing in your representatives?
Check out the results for your own state.
It explains why one of my medications cost $25,000 here in the US and cost $200.00 per year overseas…

Absolutely true. Pharma convinces the Congress that since we are relatively affluent, the right thing to do is require the US patients to subsidize the third world ones. I think that would be great, if it was voluntary.

Now, who would think that a donation would influence a politician? So cynical. However, if you want me to support your view, please send $25 to my address. ๐
