Unfolding Words for Light

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
Genesis 1:3; Psalm 119:105,130; John 1:1; 1 John 1:5
Me:
Good morning Holy Spirit!
Holy Spirit:
Good morning Jon!
Me:
Thank You for speaking to Me in these verses!  I am grateful for the Light that You are shedding abroad in my life; illuminating mysteries, revealing marvels of Your hand, comforting and guiding!  I am also thankful that no dank corner of self is immune to the purifying rays of Your love and that You give grace to let the Light do, well, what Light does.  I love You!
Holy Spirit:
You are welcome!  I love You!

    1. I am glad you stopped by to read and were blessed. I was blessed as well, reading on your well-written blog Window Seat of Faith. What I saw in it was a heart of appreciation for the astounding gifts we are given to enjoy and to use in carrying out our commission. I also saw you looking through the eyes of Jesus as you commented about the value of those you encountered along the way. I am pleased to make your acquaintance! As far as speaking to the Holy Spirit, I have been greatly enriched to recognize some of the unique aspects of the character of our mighty Three-in-One God. Most days, I am hearing from Jesus in my hand-written journal, and time constraints are keeping me from transposing those here. Though, sometimes I do. Please feel welcome here!
